About the Deliverable
The Virtual Reality (VR) Application serves as the digital gateway connecting the Eco-Beachtech project with the general public, offering an immersive and interactive experience. This deliverable was developed to bridge the gap between complex scientific research and citizens, utilizing cutting-edge technology to inform and raise awareness regarding coastal protection.
By using a VR headset, the user is transported to a virtual 3D coastal environment. The application integrates a sophisticated Artificial Intelligence (AI) Bot, which functions as a digital guide. Users can interact with the Bot, asking questions in natural language and receiving immediate, scientifically backed answers regarding the project's activities.
This application serves as a vital educational tool, as the experience it offers:
